Fell High School

Kathryn Ewonishon Danchak - Kathryn Ewonishon married Jack Danchak Sr., a barber in Simpson. She has two children; Kay was a beaution and then had two clothing stores, one in Simpson and one in Honesdale. She is retired and purchased Hunter Lake in Bethel, NY. Sadly, Kay has recently passed away.

Irene Helen Bognatz - Irene married Thomas Farrell in 1945. She has 1 son and 1 daughter, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Irene now lives in Upper Mount Bethel, Pa near her son.

Nicholas Yakowenko - Nicholas graduated with the state championship team in 1946. He retired in 1980 after a successful career in the chemical industry reclaiming industrial diamonds, tungsten and other semi-precious metals. He is married with three children and resides in Las Vegas, NV. His latest hobby is eggshell art including Ukranian "Pysanki" and Faberge-style art on shells through ostrich size. He has a sizable gallery in his home. Nicholas passed away on 10/12/00.

John T. Sidoroff - John is retired since 1988, living in Green Valley, AR (about 30 miles south of Tucson).

George Yakowenko - George is retired since 1995, living in Waipahu, Hawaii. Prior to retirement, he was employed at the Department of the Army for 10 years after a 30-year career in the US Army. George is the father of 4 sons and one grandson. He is a sports enthusiast, enjoys crossword and jigsaw puzzles, as well as volunteering time to improve his community.

Lennie Boguski - Lennie lives in Waymart with his wife Sandy. They have 3 daughters, 1 son and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Melvin Borosky - Melvin is an engineer and resides in Carbondale, with his wife Judy. They have 4 sons, 1 daughter dec'd and 6 grandchildren.

Dorothy Chupeck Kantor - Dorothy is living in Lafayette, NY. She was a Nurse Administrator, now retired. She has 1 son, 1 daughter and 2 grandchildren.

Jack Danchak - As a senior in FHS in 1958 Jack emereged as the top basketball scorer of the following leagues that existed in 1958: Northern League, Lackawanna League, Catholic League, Central and Northern Division and the Wayne County Conference. He scored 467 pts in 19 games with a 24.9 per game average. Jack scored 50 points in an individual game against Throop. Jack has the honor of being the highest basketball scorer in FHS history. Jack married the former Kay Loughrey of Jeffersonville, NY, had three children. Retired from his business near Monticello, NY and currently living in Lakewood, Pa.

Joe Dovin - Joe Dovin works as a school bus driver. He and his wife Sue live in Browndale. They are the parents of 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Mary Anne Drop Gliha - Mary Anne is retired and a part-time bookkeeper residing in Forest City. She has 3 daughters, 1 son and 6 grandchildren.

Thomas Kerl - Tom is a graduate of the University of Scranton and is a retired teacher from the Forest City School District with 34 years of service. He owns Kerl Ice Co. in Simpson and is married with 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren.

Jerry Kielar - Jerry is a retired English teacher and lives in Prompton, with his wife Mitzi. They are the parents of 1 daughter, 1 son and 3 grandchildren.

Richard Lesak - Richard is a retired State trooper and lives in Waymart with his wife Regina. They have 2 daughters, 3 sons, 1 son dec'd and 4 grandchildren.

Lillian Mikulak Stungis - Lillian and husband Eddie reside in in Simpson. Lillian is a retired legal secretary. They are the parents of 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Mike Nazak - Mike is a retired VP of Product Development for an electronics firm. He and wife Jayne, reside in Round Rock, TX. They are the parents of 1 son dec'd, 1 daughter and 1 grandchild.

Daniel Onufrak - Daniel and his wife Marion Burns (also a classmate) live in Albany, NY. They have 1 son, 1 daughter and 2 grandsons.

Carol Powell Wilk - Carol is married to Brem Wilk and resides in Harrisburg, PA. She is a retired secretary with 1 daughter, 2 sons and 2 grandchildren.

Ann Marie Propeack Ziemba - Ann Marie and husband Tom live in in Orlando,FL. She is retired from a career in Defense Finance & Accounting They are the parents of 1 son, 1 daughter and 3 grandchildren.

Charlotte Roskoski Bloch - Charlotte resides in Parlin, NJ. She is a retired special Ed teacher with 2 sons and 2 grandsons.

Hops Rupp - Hops is married and lives in Hatfield, PA with his wife Gerri. They are the parents of 1 daughter, 1 son and 5 grandchildren.

John Sladicka - John is a reitred PHD, Professor of Technology at Kean University. He and his wife Connie, reside in Lebanon, NY. They have 2 sons and 1 grandson.

Eugene Willchock - Gene "Chuck" Willchock, passed away in 2013; he was married to the former Joyce Balmieri of Archbald, PA, has two children (son & daughter), and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Joseph Wilcynski - Joe is a retired New car manager and resides in Rutherford, NJ with his wife Joanne. They have 1 son, 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren

Edward J. Dovin - Ed received an Associated Degree in Business Administration from Lackawanna Junior College. He currently resides in VA and is employed as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn of Culpeper, VA.

Andrea Dovin Bednarczyk - Andrea is married to Jake Bednarczyk (Fell '62); they live in Simpson and are the parents of two children. Andrea works at the Mid-Valley hospital. She enjoys traveling, baking and working in her yard.

Jack Gallick - After 30 years in radio, Jack now works in the St. Lucie County School system. He and his wife, Carol, live in Ft. Pierce, FL and are the parents of three children. Jack's hobbies include golf, fishing, music and computers. (He is still doing some commercials for advertising agencies.)

S. Glenn Moskosky - Glenn is a retired teacher and Athletic Director in the Carbondale Area School District. He was the HS boys' basketball head coach from 1987 - 1995. Glenn is married to the former Anna Danchak and resides in Carbondale. They are the parents of two daughters.

Tom Witts - After leaving Fell, Tom served in the United States Navy and is a decorated Vietnam Veteran. Tom currently lives in Atlanta with his wife Carol. He is president and CEO of Georgia Property Restoration, a successful construction company specializing in historical restoration.

Charles J. Sarnoski - Chuckie is the sales manager for S. J. Falbo Cheese Co. in Carbondale. He is the father of two sons and a daughter. Chuckie enjoys bowling and Penn State football. He can be seen attending most Carbondale Area athletic events.

Frances Costolnick Smith - Fran retired in 2003 from employment with the State of Delaware and began traveling full-time in RV. Her family's current residence is Livingston, TX. She has been married since 1975 to Howard D. Smith; they have one son and two grandchildren. She would enjoy hearing from any former Fell classmates.

Bob Fallon - An assistant manager at the Social Security office in York, PA, Bob and his wife, Michele, are the parents of one daughter. The family resides in York, PA.

James (Kerk) Kernoschak - Jake lives just outside of Harrisburg with his wife, Deb, and their four horses. He is a Professional Civil Engineer Supervisor with the Department of Environmental Protection.

Philomena Gravine DeRichie - Philomena and husband, John class of '73, are the parents of two children and they reside in New Jersey. Philomena is a hair stylist and John is the Executive Director of Player Development at Trump Plaza Casino in Atlantic City.

Jerome Skorupa - Jerome is an engineer for IBM in Endicott, NY. He and his wife, Sandy ('74) also reside in Endicott. They are the parents of three children.

Jack Valinski - Jack is the computer counsluant for Echo Communications. He lives in Houston, TX and volunteers his time for radio station KPFT-FM, 90.1 and the Pride Committee of Houston.

Eva Clemo Tini - Eva resides in Scranton and is the mother of four children and one grandchild. Eva is employed by PP&L and enjoys doing cross-stitch and chatting on-line. She welcomes all email.

John DeRichie - John and wife, Philomena class of '72, are the parents of two children and they reside in New Jersey. John is the Executive Director of Player Development at Ceasar's Casino in Atlantic City and Philomena is a hair stylist.

Linda Fallon Gabriel - Linda and her husband, Larry (BFHS class of '74) are the parents of five boys and reside in Carbondale. She is a teacher at the Carbondale Area School District. Linda enjoys reading, crafts, and attending her kids' games. She can be found at most Carbondale Area sporting events and is known as the "Most Spirited" teacher in Carbondale Area!!!

Joelyn Marchuck Mark - Joelyn is a graduate of Marywood College and is the Family and Consumer Science teacher at Carbondale Area Junior-Senior High School. She resides in Simpson with her two children.

Sherry Zavacky Farber - Sherry is married to John Farber (BFHS class of '74); they reside in Somers Point, NJ and are the parents of two sons. She works a a casino dealer in Atlantic City, NJ. She enjoys watching her children's sporting events, reading and the beach.

Ann Marie Ewonishon Machek - Ann Marie is a secretary for the Carbondale Area School District. Her hobbies include her family (she has two boys), computers, oldies music, making crafts and baking. She and her husband, Joseph, enjoy traveling out west.

June M. Obzud Bifano - June is a sixth grade teacher at the Carbondale Elementary school. She and her husband reside in Jermyn. June's hobbies include reading, traveling, shopping and cheering for the Yankees and Penn State.

Arlene R. Rehkop Molinaro - Arlene is the mother of 7children. She attended Keystone Jr. College for Restaurant Management, and is currently the Restaurant Manager for Denny's Restaurant. Arlene resides in Jermyn.

Sandy Wilk Skorupa - Sandy is the Director of Nursing for United Health Services in Binghamton, NY. She resides in Endicott, NY with her husband, Jerome ('72). They are the parents of three children.

Karen H. Witts DiPasquale - Karen graduated from Bloomsburg University and works for the Knowlton Construction company. She is married with one daughter. Karen lives in Mount Cobb and enjoys everything.
